The solution to scale Agile practices for multi-site collaboration
In this interview Xavier Laut from Groupe BPCE, the 2nd largest banking group in France, explains why they chose iObeya software to help accelerate their Agile at scale practices.
Groupe BPCE was endeavoring to be more Agile across multi-site teams to better serve their large customer base. This was especially relevant for their Savings Bank’s IT department called IT-CE. They were looking for tools that would seamlessly support their Agile practices on a global scale. Teams were hoping to find an all-in-one tool that could meet all of their Visual Management and Agile needs to keep information secure in a single place.
A Visual Management tool to support Agile at Scale
Fortunately for the IT-CE department, other business units at BPCE were already using iObeya as a solution to digitize their visual management needs. These groups demonstrated the value of having one platform to connect multi-site teams that can support their Agile rituals and share information throughout the necessary layers of the organization. Adopting this same tool for their department further connected the team with the larger organization and enabled more seamless collaboration.
The most obvious solution for us was to implement one tool for Visual Management that would enable us to practice all those Agile rituals without necessarily being co-located.
